Running WordPress 5.2.1 with a modified (child) WordPress Twenty-Seventeen theme at https://www.thegolfletter.com/

Client just alerted me to issue with mobile menu. It’s NOT working on mobile browsers (although it DOES work when I test with mobile agents on a desktop browser). Hamburger menu doesn’t open when clicked.

    What I’ve tried:
    – Deactivating plugins
    – Flushing cache
    – Looking through CSS

Not sure when this started, but have no idea why it’s happening. Would be grateful for anyone’s insight.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • There’s something wrong with the jquery file that’s part of your installation, it’s much smaller than it should be, and it’s generating Console errors on the inspector:
    https://www.thegolfletter.com/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp

I would try re-installing WordPress, unless you want to do a manual install of just the one file using FTP (you can unzip it from the WordPress distribution).

Thank you, @crouchingbruin. I wasn’t seeing those errors, and the jquery file in the WordPress download was the same size, but I just tried it and it seemed to work.

    Thanks!!
