mobile menu issues

The mobile menu is not working properly for me. On iPhone, when I click the menu icon, the menu that pops down is only about a half inch wide, displaying only about 3 letters of each page. On iPad, nothing happens at all when I click the menu icon.

Is there a fix for these problems? I’m open to disabling the mobile menu completely and just styling my menu to work for different screen sizes. If you can tell me how to disable the mobile menu feature, I can go that route.
