I’m optimizing a site and just yesterday I removed header and footer made with Elementor and created them through OceanWP.

There seems to be a problem with the mobile menu mode in both “Dropdown” and “Side” modes.

If a main menu item is a link (and therefore not an anchor) and has subitems, clicking on it opens the submenu, but you can never get to the page associated with that item even though its url appears in the bottom bar of the browser.

It seems to be a problem related to Javascript, the on click event seems to consider the entire li element that contains the menu item and not just the part where “+” appears that allows to display the sub-items.

The full-screen Mobile Menu, on the other hand, works perfectly.

I have made several changes to the site, but I have also encountered the problem by restoring it to the initial version.

    I hope you can help me… ??

Thanks and regards and Merry Christmas!
