Mobile Menu not working

  • Hello there,
    my mobile menu stopped working. In the mobile menu, e.g. on my smartphone, no site logo is showing at all… and there is only the menu-button, but it is not clickable,so the main menu items cannot be shown.
    I have changed the site logo before this problem occured, but I am not sure whether this is the main reason.

    Thank you for any solution ideas.

    Do you have a link to the site?
    Also, it sounds like it was working before, but the trick is to figure out what was changed since then that this issue is showing up…

    Hey, I got it!

    The reason was the Collapse-O-Matic plugin… a very very helpful tool, which is pretty much uncompatible with the aberration lite theme (it does not work together bcs aberration lite uses some jquery codings, as I found out).
    Sorry for the mess – but it might help somebody else, as the Collape-O-Matic plugin is pretty popular.

    It should be noted that every theme and/or plugin are not always compatible due to the 1000’s of themes and plugins available. However, I will check out the theme’s jquery script and to make sure each script is done in compatible mode (non-conflict). Perhaps an adjustment can be done if needed.

    A quick follow up after a couple days (I had the enjoyment of food poisoning) being out of commission…but I installed that Collapse-O-matic plugin, activated it, and enabled the scripts for it to load. I then tested the Aberration Lite theme in mobile mode and the menu was working. I also downloaded your logo and used it in my test site, and was able to see the logo.

    I’m assuming that you made some custom theme changes?
    Also, what version is your theme? I noticed you have a minified CSS file that doesn’t show the theme’s version.

    Sorry, I was also absent a little bit longer – hope U are getting well now…
    You are right, the logo is working now – there was nothing whong except that I did not notice it through a banner on my screen…
    The collapse-o-matic is still not working properly… The only CSS I made to the theme is actually a page width/margin adjustment.
    The theme version is 1.0.5

    I’m seeing a syntax error on a script that I think might be your collapse-o-matic. Hard to tell because right now you have it minimized.

    One thing to note is that not all scripts can be minified or even combined with other scripts, as this can create errors and function problems. Disable the minify setting or plugin (whichever you are using) and see what happens.
