Mobile menu now a too-brief dropdown

  • Hi! Somewhere in all of the updates, our formerly working mobile menu went from being a working dropdown to being a here-and-then-gone, barely glimpsed item. I don’t even know what to call the problem, much less how to fix it.

    Is it possible the theme has been “left behind” somewhere in those updates? Would adding a mobile menu plugin help, do you think? I have not changed the theme at all since taking over the site, and it used to be more mobile friendly.

    mobile compatibility is theme-dependent.

    What theme are you using?
    Where did you download it from?

    It’s a paid theme: X-Child Theme Integrity Light. Unfortunately, I am the third person to manage the site and no one thought to save the password, so I cannot get into their forums to ask for their help. It worked initially, but that was multiple WordPress updates ago.

    So–does anyone know of a plugin that I could use? I found a responsive menu, but their “mobile only” option was pro.
