Mobile menu on small screens shows all items

  • Hello and thanks for considering my problem. I created a new menu – Navbar – with just the links I wanted which works on the desktop, but when the window is small and the menu changes to the mobile version ALL the items are listed instead of the ones I selected for Navbar. I know it’s responding to size but I’m not familiar enough to know how to have that mobile menu include the same options as Navbar. I’ve tried a couple of mobile menu plugins but they don’t cover up the one with all the items. Both mobile menus are active and in view. I greatly appreciate any help.

    Hi, Radu? Listen, I apologize for bothering you. I finally figured it out. I’m so new to WP it hurts. I stumble on things that I’ve searched for hours trying to find and this is one of those. I simply select MobileNav as my handheld menu and it works. I’m so sorry for the trouble. I hope I haven’t ruined the possibility for getting help here in the future if I need it. Thank you so much for checking into this, too!

    I see you’re using the WooCommerce Storefront theme. No need for a plugin to fix this.

    Go into the ‘Menu’ tab and with your chosen menu selected, tick the box next to ‘handheld menu’ (‘primary menu’ should already be selected)

    Now your mobile menu should be the same as your desktop menu. ??

    Hi, Rob! I certainly appreciate your help! It takes much repetition and instruction for me to get this, so thank you. Maybe some year I’ll be able to contribute with solutions instead of questions ??
