• Hi,

I have a site that has about 5-6 submenu items in each of the parent menu dropdowns. What happens in default menu in mobile view is that each parent link keeps opening the sub-menus and the user has to keep scrolling down.

It would be good if there was a way that each parent menu click would close the previous sub-menu as it happens in toggle and accordions, so that the user does not have to scroll down.

Is there a way to achieve this in GeneratePress?

    thanks,

PS: I hope you all are safe in the wake of Corona virus.

    Hi there,

As of right now, that would require custom javascript.

However, this has been mentioned a few times now. We’re going to look at implementing this by default in GP 2.5.0.

Thanks! Best wishes to you and your family – stay safe!

    Thanks Tom.

Is there a plugin that you might recommend for this?

That would apply that functionality to GeneratePress? Not likely, unfortunately.

Any chance you can link me to your site? I may be able to help with some JS, but it depends on the complexity of the menu.
