Mobile Optimized Slidshow

Gloveboxltd.com is a website designed to display documentation of exhbitions held at the Glovebox art gallery. The website is live and features the ‘Slideshow’ plugin. I would like to improve the slideshow in order to function better on mobile devices. At the moment it appears as a squashed version of the desktop slideshow. Idealy it would display the series of images for the user to scroll through rather than slide across.

Does anyone have any advice for me?
