Have a problem with my page and the mobile content. Earlier it all worked fine but now it looks like the mobile page isnt classed woocommerce page so i cant get the products or filter to show up. I dont know if it has to do about updates, both wordpress, woocommerce and Specific Content for Mobile has been updated lately.
If im logged in and enters the “butik-mobile” page it works fine, but when i go to the main page “butik” nothing shows up beside page widget.
Products are loaded by the homepage theme.

Any ideas whats wrong? The poduct filter is included in the widget, and the filter only shows f?r woocommerce-pages, becouse of thata i believe the problem is that the mobile-page doesent connect to the main page in a right way.

    Heres a screenshot, https://www.bilddump.se/bilder/20210214101602-2a02:aa1:1016:a9fe:b919:373c:1c3e:7756.png

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @finhudsalong

your site is under construction, so I would need some clarification to understand better the situation.

Are your homepage and the shop page the same page?
I mean, have you selected the same page in WooCommerce => Settings => Products and in Settings => Reading => Homepage?

You said the products are loaded by the homepage theme, what does it mean?

I can imagine the following ways to load the products on the homepage:

    – The homepage and the shop page are the same page
    – With a shortcode
    – With a widget
    – With a Gutenberg block
    – By the template file of a plugin
    – By the template file of the theme (do you mean so?)

To investigate the problem I should first understand better how the products are loaded. Then I can try to reproduce the problem.

    Hi

No its not the same page, under WooCommerce => Settings => Products is our shop-page selected (“butik”) and under Settings => Reading => Homepage is our homepage selected (“hem”).
Our shop-page has no shortcodes, so theres no content when we edit the page, so i assumes its loaded by the template file of the theme and thats what a meant with “loaded by the theme”.
I can close construction mode if that facilitates for you?

Thank you for the information @finhudsalong

Before switching to the live mode, I suggest you download this plugin https://plugins.svn.www.ads-software.com/specific-content-for-mobile/branches/scfm-shop-bug-fix-1.zip
If the direct link doesn’t work go to https://plugins.svn.www.ads-software.com/specific-content-for-mobile/branches/ and click on scfm-shop-bug-fix-1.zip

Then upload the zip from the plugins page and activate it.

If you have any cache, delete the cache and refresh the page where you have the issue.

Let me know if it works.

If it works you can keep that plugin active until the next version is ready. If it doesn’t work I will investigate deeper.

ok, so disable the plugin scfm-shop-bug-fix-1 because it doesn’t fix anything in this case.

Let’s first check if it’s really something that has to do with the theme. I suggest you:

    – Install and activate Freesoul Deactivate Plugins https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/freesoul-deactivate-plugins/
    – Preview the same page loading the default WordPress theme. You can read this post for more details: https://freesoul-deactivate-plugins.com/how-check-which-plugin-causes-issues/. In your case, you will need to refresh the preview after switching to the mobile simulator.

If with the default WordPress theme you have no issues, we can focus on the theme. In that case, you can check which files of the theme are called on the page where you have the issue. Read here to understand how to do it https://freesoul-deactivate-plugins.com/how-check-which-files-are-called/. Then please send me the files that are called and the name of the theme if it’s a free theme.

If the theme is not the cause, disable all plugins keeping active only WooCommerce and Specific Content For Mobile. If you haven’t the issue, enable a plugin after the other until you don’t find that one that gives the conflict.

After all the suggested tests the situation should be one of the following:

    – The issue occurs only with your theme => provide me please the name of the theme and the files that are called as mentioned before.
    – The issue occurs only if the plugin X is active => provide me please the name of that plugin
    – The issue occurs also with the default WordPress theme and no other plugin active, but SCFM and WooCommerce => I will investigate deeper on my installation

As you will see, to preview the page with FDP disabling plugins or switching to the default WP theme you will click on a lens icon. After clicking on the icon you need to inspect elements and refresh the page after simulating the mobile device. Don’t wait too much time before switching to the mobile simulation and refreshing the page, because the authorization to see the preview expires after some seconds, and if you refresh the page too late you will have all plugins and the actual theme.

If something is not clear or you have questions let me know.

    Hi

I installed Freesoul Deactivate Plugins and think i found the problem. It seems like the plugin “WooCommerce Product Carousel, Slider and Grid Ultimate” was somehow blocking the products on the mobile page. It seemes to work now.

    Thanks for the help!

    Hi @finhudsalong

Perfect! You are welcome. I’m happy that it works now. If you don’t need that plugin on that page you can keep it disabled there, it will also help for the performance.

In any case, I will check that plugin to be sure in the future nobody has the same problem, or at least warn the user until I don’t find a solution, maybe together with the plugin author.
