Hi camu,

When I check my website on my mobile phone (iPhone) when I am outside of home in the car somewhere, my exact “public IP address” changes all the time, so how do I block this from showing up on SlimStat?

If I am logged into the site as a user it is ok, but if I browse the site while logged out on my mobile phone these views start showing up on SlimStat each time.

When I am at home, my IP address is always the same, I guess as I am using my Wi-fi at home?

Hi GSJ,

if you’re not logged in, how would the system know that it is you? ?? If you think that there’s a way for us to implement some other kind of detection, let us know and we will look into it.

I’m not sure how to get around this issue, it creates some “false positive” visits.

Not sure if you can block a specific device rather than at an IP-address level only?!

Other than that, just making sure I am logged in on my phone when I leave home (ie. as my user name is blocked)!

If you can customize the user agent string on your device, then you can set a
Filter for that…
