mobile preview inaccurate

    Mobile preview only shows the image in its correct size if I don’t make any adjustments on the edit page, with the corner dots. Regardless of whether I make the image smaller or larger to fit text, the mobile preview blows the image up to twice the size of the preview’s screen, as though any change triggers a default size where only half the image is visible. BUT . . .
    When I look at the page on my phone, everything’s fine. The mobile preview isn’t anything related to the real thing.
    1) Has something happened to phones recently, or in WP’s code, to make image size changes automatically to the size of screen being used? Only a year ago, a friend was telling me that my posts were hard because the large photos didn’t fit. Now they do?
    2) Will the mobile preview be showing an accurate representation of the real phone screen view any time soon? I will show you a screen shot of my editor page with the photo how I want it, next to the mobile preview with the photo twice as big as the screen can show if that would help. I can’t take a picture of my phone with my phone, but it would show everything sized perfectly, not anything like what the preview says it would be.

    Hi there,

    We haven’t noticed this issue and haven’t received other reports on this.

    Can you disable all plugins to make sure there are no conflicts from elsewhere?
