Pre-purchase Question

    16 August 2018

    I would happily pay for a Developer’s license; but first, I have a question:

    In your Max Mega Menu/Mega Menus, you show Second Level Menu Items and Third Level Menu Items. But, in /Mobile Menu/Mobile Toggle Bar/Toggle Bar Designer, it appears that you can only add one menu through Menu Toggle Settings. Is it possible to add and rename primary and secondary menus? Am I missing something?

    Thank you most kindly,
    Doug Arnold

    Hi Douglas,

    I don’t fully understand sorry.

    The menu items you see in the mobile menu will be exactly the same as the menu items you see on the desktop menu, just formatted differently to look good on smaller screens.

    The mobile toggle bar designer simply lets you configure what is seen in the mobile toggle bar, it does not determine which menu items you see when the mobile menu is open.

    Regards,
    Tom

Hi, Tom

I will clarify:

Can I add a secondary menu to a mobile menu that can be individuated from the Primary Menu so that I can have a Primary Menu on top of a Secondary Menu?

If I can do that, I will purchase ( happy face ) the Developer's version of the plugin. If I cannot add a secondary menu to a mobile device, this plug-in won't work for me. I can't be the only user who needs Primary AND Secondary menus for both Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, and Mobile.

Tom, I hope that clarifies my question. It is my opinion that your great plug-in should be able to do that.

Sincerely,
    Doug Arnold

    Hi Doug,

    I do see a primary and a secondary menu on mobile.

    Is this the result you’re looking to achieve?

    If so, you’ll need to duplicate your current menu theme, so you have 2 identical menu themes (you can do this under Mega Menu > Menu Themes). Apply the newly created theme to your secondary menu (you can do this under Appearance > Menus > Max Mega Menu Settings).

    Now you have 2 menus each with their own theme. Edit the second theme and change the toggle block text to ‘Secondary menu’.

    Tom

    Tom,

    I figured it out myself:

    #mega-menu-wrap-primary .mega-menu-toggle .mega-toggle-block-2 .mega-toggle-label .mega-toggle-label-closed:after {
    	content: 'Primary Menu';
    }
    #mega-menu-wrap-secondary .mega-menu-toggle .mega-toggle-block-2 .mega-toggle-label .mega-toggle-label-closed:after {
    	content: 'Secondary Menu';
    }

    Doug

    P.S. It’s just too bad this isn’t possible in the Mobile Menu/Mobile Toggle Bar/Toggle Bar Designer.

    Tom,

    Apologies. I didn’t see your reply before I sent the last email. I’ll try that method presently.

    Thank you!!
    Doug
