Mobile Site navigation links aren't collapsing

I have downloaded the Artificer template and edited the colors a bit on it. I haven’t done any extensive moding of the template.

The mobile site (when viewed on my iphone) shows all of the main navigation links spreading down the page, you have to scroll past a page or two of navigation links before you ever get to the site content.

There is a Main Navigation link on the mobile site that isn’t on the actual site, I presume that is where the links are supposed to go? Shouldn’t they all be collapsed under the Navigation header until clicked so that they aren’t spread out across the mobile device and constantly in the way?

Where are the settings for mobile devices that I should be browsing to fix this?
