    Hi

I’m trying to optimise my website as my speed is down.

I’m on a litespeed server, and using your plugin. I started with the advised preset, plus I have included image lazy loading. I am also using a separate cache for mobile and desktop.

Now what I’m finding. Everything looks amazing straight after I’ve done my optimisations, cleared cache and then i run a whole number of pageinsight scores on some pages. (I have screenshots of all my scores, please see this link. (my public folder on my google drive)

    https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1nypqRMHAAli9wRJfMiCK3TYs8owmLecv?usp=share_link

the files stating 0 are the initial readings. The files starting 1- are all the later reading)

Basically CLS, and Total blocking time all green. Performance in the 90% and up.. This is on mobile and desktop.

Now I wait and hour and redo all tests..

On mobile. CLS, and Total blocking time all RED. Performance in the 56% , 70% and 86%.

On desktop. All scores exactly the same as my initial tests…

Why would this be.., what can I do to sort this???

    regards, Bruce

  • First of all before you do any test with PageSpeed disable Guestmode. PageSpeed is not compatible with Guestmode, because PageSpeed is unable to act like a real user browser. This a known issue of PageSpeed.

So, if you disable Guestmode do PageSpeed Test again and come back.

sorry. I got a timeout error when logging this call, so re-logged the call. Guestmode was off when I ran these tests.

Lets close this call and put reply on the other call

    thanks, Bruce
