• Dear Kadence Theme Support Team,

The images of desktop slider are coming up in my mobile layout and even though I have assigned separate images (of small size) to mobile slider, they are not showing up.

Link to my website is : https://www.clickstoremember.com/

Can you please help me get this important issue resolved?

    Many Thanks and Regards
    Anshul..

  • I’m not seeing this…

But as a guess, do you have page caching from a plugin? Because if you have it enabled and you want to run two separate menus then you need to have it off just for the home page (only page caching). If you using w3 total cache there is an option for this right in the settings.

    Dear Kadence Theme Support,

Thanks a lot for your suggestion.
Yes, you guessed it correctly and caught me. I am indeed using a cache plugin and it is indeed W3 total cache.

When I am removing the page cache for the home page, I could see that my mobile slider is showing up well but it is increasing my server responce time.

Disabling the page cache is increasing server response time from ~0.5 seconds to ~3.5 seconds thus reducing the overall user experience.

Is there any way I can provide my mobile users a better website experience without affecting the site loading speed? I know that one possible solution is to add a subdomain for my mobile users but then it is too technical for me. :-/

    Thanks and Regards

If you leave caching on, and only disable for the front page… you can do this in the w3 total cache settings > page cache… “Don’t cache front page”

That will have a minimal impact on the load time for the site since it’s only effect the home page.. else you can just use one slider and make it more responsive friendly or don’t use a slider for mobile at all.
