  • have similar problem to kuertee.

In my case it happen in my recent post widget. I need to make every video post thumbnail link go to the post where the video attached.

The option that I chose have successfully get rid of YouTube branding, Video information, etc. It works great in Desktop mode, but not when opened with mobile devices.

When I opened with mobile device, it seems that the option I chose have got no any effects at all. When I click the post thumbnail, the video start playing in mobile device own player or YouTube apps. The branding are still there and I don’t have any idea to get rid of it.

Looking forward for developer support or anyone about this.

@mastiyok I do not have any influence on how YouTube and other providers handle the options the plugin passes to them. The plugin simply uses their public API. If they choose to ignore the settings on mobile there is nothing I can do about it.

@kertee You will need to implement specific functionality like this manually. You might want to look into the wp_is_mobile function.
