• I’ve got a bit of a problem with Elementor, in that you need to create three different versions of your website to make them viewable on different devices.
Now first off, I’m a staunch user of WPBakery, which apart from allowing various modules to be deleted, added or edited for tablets and mobiles,

      straight from the module itself

, they always show up immaculately on mobiles, tablets and desktops.
I’ve just created a landing page website with Elementor and quite frankly it looks a mess compared to what I would have been able to do with WPB, but that may well be my fault for trying to use a new page builder. I’m not prepared to upgrade to the pro version until it edits as smoothly as WPB, leading to the following question…
Sure, there’s plenty of tutorials on YouTube on how to create websites with Elementor, but you can just feel them starting to stutter (apologise?!?) when it comes to making the edits appear properly on mobiles and tablets. Do I need to upgrade to the pro version to get the easy edits I’m used to, or is it just as dodgy with a few extra widgets thrown in?

Hey @er123 don’t get me wrong – it CAN be done.
But by the time you’ve finished messing around with three different edits on all of your pages, you just may as well save some time and use a default WordPress theme.

In Elementor you could easily edit for various devices such as Mobile, Tablet and Desktop.

Have you gone through our guide?

Do you have any specific issues regarding mobile editing?
If so, please send here an example.

Yeah, there’s no ‘best practices’ section for Elementor to be found anywhere though, just all these ‘build a website’ videos with everything thrown together in various mish-mashes, and then the video author needing to ‘apologise’ when it comes to editing for mobile and tablets – including the video above.
For instance I’m looking at Brizy at the moment which has full instructions on colour palates, universal text editing, and then finally each section/block explained by rote in order to build a full website.
Elementor it seems takes the stance of a ‘run before you can walk’ attitude.
