    Here’s my site:
    Champagne Tastes

I’m having issues with my mobile theme. I use Sela, and on a web browser everything looks great. However, my mobile theme doesn’t look right- the pink menu has been replaced with the default wordpress blue and white theme.
I’m running the Jetpack plugin and have the mobile theme options selected, but that hasn’t helped.
Any suggestions? I’m familiar with the WordPress software, but not with css or html. I’m fine with the original sela colors, I just want it to also show up on mobile devices correctly.

Turn off the Jetpack mobile theme – that’s only recommended for themes that are not responsive. Since Sela is responsive and adjust automatically to all screen sizes, there’s no need for a separate mobile theme. Once you turn it off, your site should have the same colour palette at any screen size.

That fixes the color issue, but then the home page isn’t adjusting to mobile size :/

In what way isn’t the homepage adjusting to mobile devices? It looks fine when I reduce the browser window size to simulate a mobile screen.

Have you made any modifications to the theme files?

On what device are you seeing an issue?

    What OS?

    What browser?

The header looks fine, the menu bar looks fine. The footer is fine.
On the home page – The center column that has text and images won’t reduce to size on my phone- I have to scroll to the right to see everything. It’s the area that looks like it’s floating over the background image.
I’m on an updated iPhone in Safari.
Also – all the other pages are displaying correctly (About, Recipes, Blog). It’s just the home page.

The “hero” area in Sela is designed for a small piece of text.

Could you try removing the tiled gallery you have there and see if that fixes the display issue on the front page?
