I like the software. It has a lot of great features. I just want to let you know that the Mobile Jetpack Theme overrides my custom child theme on mobile devices. Maybe, you could fix it, or include a warning to let people know that this happens.

  • I am having the same problem, on mobile it reverts to a basic demo theme, when I disconnect Jetpack the theme problem goes away but then the mosaic tiles gallery does not work. I have a client who is not happy right now

@socratesburks You don’t have to disable Jetpack completely. You can go to the settings and disable Jetpack’s mobile theme.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

That’s indeed how Jetpack’s Mobile Theme works; it’s a new theme, that gets activated on mobile devices and will consequently replace your desktop theme.

If you’ve created a custom theme or use a theme that’s already responsive, you should deactivate the Mobile Theme module under Jetpack > Settings in your dashboard.
