Mobile Toggle Issue with Beaver Builder

  • We have Max Mega Menu enabled for the mobile location of a Beaver Builder theme install, and we are finding that clicking on the parent item links in the slide-out menu prematurely closes the mobile slide-out panel for versions of the BB theme after 1.7.8. I think someone on the Max Mega menu forum has figured out a fix for a different theme. I was wondering if someone might be able to help adapt this for BeaverBuilder or perhaps recommend a simpler fix.     Hi imdcoop,

    Thanks for posting a link. I can see the JavaScript that is causing this, it is this line:

    2023-01-03_12-10-53

    Note that the file loaded on your site is actually theme.min.js.

    Unfortunately I don’t know enough about beaver builder to see how to prevent that code from being executed, and I can’t figure it out from looking at the code. I think you’d need to ask beaver builder the best way to prevent that code from running.

    Alternatively (again I dont know much about beaver builder) you might be able to remove the current menu module/block, and replace it directly with a code/html block that contains our menu shortcode. Then you can re-enable our mobile toggle and use our off canvas menu option instead. The main difference is that it won’t push the page content over when it is opened – it will overlay it instead.
