  • From a quick look at the linked site, it sounds like the response from Google Search Console is likely to do with the font sizes and spacing provided by the theme, rather than changes in WP 6.0.3 necessarily.

It looks like the theme being used is Claire? I don’t believe that theme is available on the theme directory, so I’m not too sure how configurable it is, but if there are options for adjusting font-size, it might be worth exploring that, or contacting the theme developers if there aren’t options for adjusting the sizing. Typically, accessibility tools might flag sites where the main body text size is lower than 16px. From a quick search, the developers of Claire theme appear to be MatchThemes: https://matchthemes.com/premium/claire-personal-blog-wordpress-theme/

For help with Google Search Console, there is also the GSC help center, which might provide further guidance: https://support.google.com/webmasters

    Hi Andrew,

thank you so much for your detailed answer! I’m blown away that you took time to have a look and to write me back.

Yes, the developers of Claire are matchthemes. I just wrote them an email and hope to get back an answer. Because there’s not much possibilities to change the sizing.

    Thanks a lot!!

    Fyi: I got this answer:

Sometimes Google may send false positive issues.

I've used the mobile-friendly test Google page and tested your site and it's fine. See the screenshot.

If the Google robots don't load some site files, like css styles, it may give those errors.

And after letting Google crawl my sites again, they sent me an Email with the info that the issues are fixed now. Very strange. ??

    Thanky you for your help!

Excellent, thanks for the update, glad to hear it was just a false positive!
