• hi there,

    I have a question regarding the mobile Version of colormag:

    I have 3 nested levels in one menue tree:

    main entry -> subentry1 -> subentry2

    In the mobile Version I only see the first level, the other ones not.

    Is there a way to show them too?

    thank you!

    kind regards,

    Sabine

  • Hi @boesebiene ,

    While checking your site, you are using an outdated version of ColorMag, so please update the theme to its latest version, and the nested menu will work. Here is the screenshot for your reference: https://prnt.sc/rha2d1e_YNT4

    As you are using a very old version of ColorMag, you might see some changes on your site, so to fix those changes, you need to clear the site’s cache after the update and follow some troubleshooting methods mentioned here:
    https://docs.themegrill.com/colormag/docs/troubleshooting-common-issues-after-colormag-v3-0-pro-v4-0-updates/

    Let us know if the issue still exists here, and we will assist you.

    Hi Rohit,

    thank you ??

    I updated the website and wrote to my provider about the cache. They responded that there is no cache to clear and I should clear WP Cache (the plugin). Well I don’t have this plugin but the Icons are as referred in your article huge and all looks quite messy.

    Now it does not look nice but still the menue does not work in the mobile version, I just can click the first level and do not see the lower menue levels.

    Thank you for your help!

    Kind regards,

    Sabine

    Hi Rohit,

    interesting, now it works. Maybe the cache which my provider did not recognize was cleaned automatically.

    So this issue is now fixed, and now the nested menues work as well.

    But I have another question regarding my old Header. I can’t find the right place to put my old <div>-Block to place the site-title right of the Logo in the header (as shown in the old screenshot)

    https://www.sandokan.at/Header_old.png

    <div id="header-text">
    <h1 id="site-title">
    <a href="<?php echo esc_url( home_url( '/' ) ); ?>" title="<?php echo esc_attr( get_bloginfo( 'name', 'display' ) ); ?>" rel="home"><?php bloginfo( 'name' ); ?></a>
    </h1>
    <h2 id="site-description"><?php bloginfo( 'description' ); ?>
    </h2><!-- #site-description -->
    </div>
    <!-- BEGIN JS -->
    <div id="header-logo-image" class="JS_VolksbankHeaderLogo JS_VolksbankHeaderLogo" >
    <img src="https://www.sandokan.at/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/logoffoe.jpg" alt="" width="150">
    </div>

    It would be really nice if you could point me a finger to the right php File , thank you!

    Kind regards,

    Sabine

    Hi @boesebiene,

    Since your nested menu issue is now solved, please resolve this topic and create a new topic for your header issue, and we will help you with it there.

    This keeps the forums organized and makes it easier for others to find the solution.
    Regards!
