• This afternoon I noticed the mobile version of my site showing up on my desktop, which it never has before. I deactivated WPtouch and the mobile version is still showing up for my home page, but not for other pages deeper in the site. I do not use caching plugins. I use a security plugin and seo. What’s going on here? I’m not sure I want to re-activate WPtouch.

Only resolved this when I deleted the WPtouch plugin. Can’t say this was a very good experience.

Im having the same type of problems. Do we have a solution for this?

It sounds as if you have a caching plugin or other caching software serving cached mobile pages to your desktop. You may configure your caching plugin not to cache mobile pages nor to serve cached pages when mobile devices are detected. To do so, enter the user agents found under Advanced Options > Custom User-Agents to the “rejected user agents” areas in your caching plugin’s settings. Remember to clear your plugin, browser, and device caches before retesting.

If you read my original post, you’ll see that I do not have caching on my site.

@distiple – Can you please share the URL of your website and let us know if you’re running some sort of caching solution? Thanks.

@rchrisbishop – By any chance, did you add custom user agents in the WPtouch admin panel? If so, what user agents did you add. If you did not, let us know when WPtouch is active on your site so we can take a look ourselves and see what may be happening there. Thanks.
