    The + (plus sign) to show there are sub-items to a menu item is appearing against the item BEFORE the one with sub-items, in the mobile and tablet views. I have another website using BlueGray (which I really like by the way) and I haven’t updated to the latest version of that (still on 6.7). This error doesn’t occur with that site.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

    It’s caused by the custom CSS you’ve added in the Customizer. In the recent past I have changed the CSS of the mobile menu and I think you still have parts of the old CSS.

    If you remove all custom CSS of element .mobile-nav .subnav-toggle , it should be fine again.

    Same applies to the rest of your custom CSS underneath /* MOBILE */ by the way, you can remove most or all of it.

    I’ve done that and it is perfect now. Thank you so much for sorting it out for me.

    Great, you’re welcome!

    I do notice something else, if you want to make whole nav bar blue instead of the nav alone, please add this:

    .nav-head-container {background: #040e6a;}

    You’ve added chunks of CSS from theme stylesheet into the CSS page of the Customizer, but there where several CSS-changes in the past. This means old CSS is being used at this site.

    Thanks for that tip too. It looks even better now! I always wondered about that.

    I know I spent some time a couple of years ago ‘customising’ the site and I’m a bit reluctant to go back and recustomise it. On the basis of ‘if it ain’t broke don’t mend it’ I think I’ll leave it as is for now. I’m so pleased with the site – it replaced something very basic and I think it’s a great advertisement for our group.

    Sorry, the above sounds like I’m praising myself – it was intended to say what a good theme BlueGray is!

    No worries ??

    FYI: the major changes are announced in the sticky topics at the forum page.
