moblog without cron?

I know you can use the browser on a Palm but I was wondering if aanyone had figured out a way to moblog via email preferably without using cron?
I can only run cron every hour which is less timely than I’d like it to be. In many cases I would be back (unless traveling for the full day) by the time something was to post and I might as well just do it from my computer at that point.
