    Hi Friends,

First of all thanks for this reliable and useful free plugin!

I’m on shared hosting and going to set up and configure W3TC on my site.
A have the mod-deflate Apache server side data compression enabled at the moment.
Should I skip (disable/do not enable) any point in W3TC setup list to avoid maladjustment.( e.g. “double compression” error)

    thx

    Hello @kerdezo,

You are welcome and thank you for using W3 Total Cache!
In order to use some W3 Total Cache settings mod_deflate needs to be enabled on your server I.E. Gzip Compression.
That being said, you should leave it enabled to be able to use W3 Total Cache settings.
    I hope this helps.
