mod_rewrite – replacing underscores in URLs

  • Hi all.

    I upgraded to Christine’s latest UTW which caused all tags with underscores to be replaced with hypens (tag/apple_orange became tag/apple-orange). This is fine…except Google still has a big index of my underscore tags, and I’m getting thousands of 404 errors.

    Any idea of the correct rewrite expression to rewrite underscores to hyphens (but only when it comes after /tag/)?

    Christine and I are both stumped ??
