Modal no longer scrolling

  • Hello, I love your plugin and use it across my web-site. I’ve recently run into issues where the Modals no longer scroll, but the page behind will scroll.

    Following your post format request:
    1. https://americanadventures.com/work-for-us/
    2. Suppose to happen: click the modal, it pops up, and you can scroll up or down to read everything in the modal.
    3. What’s happening: I click the modal, it pops up, I scroll but the page behind the modal scrolls leaving much information unreadable.
    4. You can find in the 3rd section of the page under the titles: About Us, About Our Trips, etc.

    Any updates? Disappointed in lack of support, will probably switch to a different modal.

    @bford1988 – Sorry for the delay, this plugin doesn’t have active support, per the message in the plugins description. Sadly despite that the plugin has grown 20k installs in the last year.

    This plugin was rewritten from the ground up by the same author (myself) and released as a 1000x better plugin Popup Maker, which has a fully paid support team that answers tickets on www.ads-software.com forums as well as private support.

    That all said, it sounds like you have enabled “Fixed” positioning which freezes the modal in place while the page scrolls. Popup Maker works much better with these situations and is worth taking a look at as a replacement.
