Moderated Comments in Brian’s Latest Comments

I have recently installed and modified (bug fixes mostly) Brian’s latest comments on a blog I am designing.

Unfortunately, when a person comments and it goes into moderation queue but there is no confirmation on the site and the page just refreshes back to the blog post.

This will undoubtedly cause people to post their comment again or assume that it hasn’t worked all together and leave the site. Has anyone been able to display the moderated comment using this plugin with a message indicating it is subject to moderation.

I have tried editing the comments.php and brianslatestcomments.php files with no success.
