I’m not sure if I understand what you’re pointing to. I have a few groups for people with write/edit capabilities, such as for posts and events (Time.ly) and another for pages. Capabilities for the former are:
create_ai1ec_events create_posts delete_ai1ec_event delete_ai1ec_events delete_published_ai1ec_events edit_ai1ec_event edit_ai1ec_events edit_others_ai1ec_events edit_others_posts edit_posts edit_published_ai1ec_events edit_published_posts publish_posts
For the latter:
edit_others_pages edit_pages edit_published_pages publish_pages
This used to work fine. Since recently, whatever somebody with the capabilities does (create or edit), the post or page is thrown into some mod queue for somebody with more capabilities (hence: me) to confirm.
It doesn’t matter if the users are editing their own posts and pages or those of others.
I don’t know if I have to look for the solution in WordPress or in Groups, but giving people rights to edit preferably does not mean that I have to publish the edited posts and pages.
