    Hi @stephenwp001 ,

We cannot say for sure why WordFence is creating these warnings. Our latest release was version 14.0.4 on April 30. Does this match the dates you see in WordFence?

    Hi,

WordFence sent the email alert on 5th May, so no match.

I think it may be a false positive, not sure?

    Steve

    Hi @stephenwp001,

While we are not 100% sure, we believe that the notification you are getting is due to an update where a lot of files have been modified, which is just fine. However, if you do feel the need, you can always reinstall the plugin files without losing any previously entered data or settings. You can simply deactivate Yoast SEO and delete the plugin and then reinstall it. This will make sure that the original plugin files are in place.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks for your help.

Must be a false positive as I’ve checked my site and run it through several scanners and all is fine.

    Thank you.
