Modification of the French translation

If you modify the French translation file, your changes will be overwritten at the next update.

If you make a custom French translation using Loco Translate and keep it in the Loco Translate custom location, it will be update-safe but you will need to keep it updated yourself every time WooCommerce updates a string.

I suggest using Say What?

Getting the settings correct for a string replacement can be tricky. If you have a problem using Say What?, please post a link to the relevant page and identify the label to be modified.

@jeanetteblondlot Besides the great advice from @lorro above, if there are things you think can be improved in the core translation – so things that could be better translated, as opposed to things you’d prefer to be customized to your own business – you can contribute to the translations project yourself and submit proposed revisions.
