Modified date is not correct

  • HI,

    I have set up the admin column for pages to show Modified date and Modified author. I am exporting 1 page from a website and importing it into my development site. The Modified date is incorrect when imported, it shows the published date even though in the xml file meta data the dates are correct:

    <wp:post_date><![CDATA[2016-11-17 17:19:10]]></wp:post_date> 
    <wp:post_date_gmt><![CDATA[2016-11-17 17:19:10]]></wp:post_date_gmt> 
    <wp:post_modified><![CDATA[2024-11-12 11:31:24]]></wp:post_modified> <wp:post_modified_gmt><![CDATA[2024-11-12 11:31:24]]></wp:post_modified_gmt>

    Can you help please as I need to be able to see the correct modified dates.

    Can you check the database of the date in the wp_post table indeed contains the correct date for your post_modified? Our Last Modified column uses the get_post_field(‘post_modified’, $id) so I expect the date in your database is not correct instead of our column showing the wrong value.
