modified files

Thanks, so basically copy that structure rename first templates to events-manager keep all the structure but remove all files leaving all folders empty except the modified files?
if i modify say a .php in wp-content/plugins/events-manager/templates/templates

then this would go in wp-content/themes/MYTHEME/events-manager/templates

and a file modified in wp-content/plugins/events-manager/templates/forms/event

would go in
wp-content/themes/MYTHEME/events-manager/forms/event

I don’t have pluggins under theme

in example shows
wp-content/themes/twentyten/plugins/events-manager/templates/

but mine is
wp-content/themes/MYTHEME/events-manager/templates/

you have to create this folders in your theme

wp-content > themes > Your Theme > plugins > events-manager > forms > event

so i need to create a new folder plugins as my plugins folder is not under theme it is
/wp-content/plugins

so creating a plugin folder
/wp-content/themes/plugins/events-manager

So now i have
/wp-content/themes/MYTHEME/plugins/events-manager

With no other plugins in this folder as my plugins are
/wp-content/plugins

what files must be place and modificate?

Any files modified in EM get modified in this new directory in the THEME rather than the EM plugin so any upgrades don’t overwrite them. is how i understand it

Oh..
But, I just need edit background of plugin. what files must edited?

I think if i understand correctly in admin under appearance-THEMES, you can if theme allows change background there
