modified files in email report but not scan?

I keep getting emails regarding modified files in wflogs, along with a few other things. What is confusing is when I go to check the actual scan log NONE of these things are listed. This worries me. Normally I can find them there and do a comparison.

Is Wordfence reporting things it changed itself? But if so, why would those OTHER modified files not show? I’d like to know if this is normal behavior (if so, fine, i just need to know). But I am the only one logging in to these sites so I know no one else is supposed to be in there modifying files.
