Modified plugin file

    I got this warning from Wordfence: Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/custom-twitter-feeds/custom-twitter-feed.php

    What is this? I deleted the plugin because I do not like the idea of plugins being updated this way rather than the usual channels.

    Thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. It is expected for plugin files to be modified if there is an update to the plugin, and security plugins can give a notification when this occurs. If you receive this type of message when no updates have occurred then this could be something to be wary of.
