    Hi,

Wordfence scan is warning about 10 modified plugin files for the plugin “Minimal Coming Soon Maintenence Mood”.

For us who knows next to nothing about code, what does that mean and what action do we need to take?

Appreciate any guidance we can get,
    Malin ??

    Hi @malinlagerq,

Can you provide the files that Wordfence has flagged as modified? You can copy-paste the code into pastebin.com and we can compare it to the original files for the Minimal Coming Soon plugin.

In most cases, the changes were simply the plugin being updated, but it might also be a malicious change.

    Hey @malinlagerq,

As Dave mentioned, this is most likely a plugin update. But if you’d like to share the contents of the files in a pastebin.com we can review them to make sure it isn’t malicious.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

    Hi @wfgerald,

    Thank you for your respons.

I’ver never used pastebin.com before. How does it work? I click the green button “+ new paste”, upload the files and then?

    /Malin ??

    Hey @malinlagerq,

There are several video tutorials out there that may be more helpful than me writing text instructions. I’ve skimmed this one, and it looks pretty informative. Please check it out and let me know if it helps.

    Thanks,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’ve gone ahead and marked this thread as resolved.
