This file was modified, I THINK by the creator of Watu Quizes, to fix a problem with it not showing up on Namaste. The only change on Lin3 42 of the file where WordPress was changed to “wordpress” (lower case). I have repeatedly marked the file as fixed, but everytime a new scan runs, it appears again. I′ve tried just ignoring it, but it continues to show up. I do not want to uninstall the plugin and reinstall it, because it may revert to the problem that was fixed by the creators of Watu Quizes. How can I make it disappear from Wordfence, never to appear again?

I am running WP Ver. 5.8
    PHP: 7.4.21
    Wordfence Ver. 7.5.4
    Watu Quizes Ver. 3.3.0.1
    All with autoupdates enabled.

    Thanks.

Hello @jbb0906 and thanks for reaching out to us!

The “Mark as Fixed” button will remove the scan result from the current list of scan results. Scan results that have been marked as fixed will reappear in subsequent scans. This action is useful when you have a long list of scan results. For example, you could “mark as fixed” all results for plugins that have an update available. This will tidy up the list and help you to concentrate on the other scan results that you want to investigate.

You will want to hit “Ignore” on that scan result to not see it in future scans.

    I hope this helps!

    Thanks again!

Thanks for the feedback. is there a point at which, this change in tyography will no longer be flagged as a “modification?” Or is there something I can do to the file so that it doesn′t “appear to be modified?”
    thanks.

Is this a live update that was done by the plugin developer and is available via the WordPress Repository? or is this a custom file that was designed for your site specifically?

There was a problem with Watu Quizes. The option to include them in Namaste classes was not available. I contacted the writer of the plugin, gave him access to the admin for the account, and he modified the file.
