Modify category slug

  • Is there a way or plugin to modify the category slug?

    Background: When saving a post under 2 or more cats, WP defines the cat-slug permlink. I would like to edit this.

    Thanks, but that is not what I meant. Sorry for my unclearness.

    I mean the category slug, when saving a post ( the permlink)
