I’m using the Nature theme and I’ve customized the header with an image.

I would like to give the photographer credit in the footer for the use of the image and a link to their page would be nice too.

I’m guessing I need to go into the footer in the style editor…

but I don’t know what to write – how to write it – or where to insert it.

I’d like to to say something like:
Header Image Courtesy of Rich Evanhouse

with his name hyperlinked to his flickr page…
    https://www.flickr.com/photos/richevenhouse/

And I’d like this to be placed at the end of the copyright line

I had no idea setting up a blog required learning a whole new language!
Thank you for taking a look – and even more thanks if you can show me how to do this!

  • I would probably make the courtesy text part of the image. like in lower right or top left corner.

But for the footer, you can go to your edit theme section open footer.php and all the way at the bottom of the page where usually copyright info is, just add a <p class=”you can use the same class from copyright>Header Image Courtesy of Rich Evanhouse.</P>
note: make sure you have backup of the unchanged php file before you make any changes.

    hope this works. good luck.
