Modify page layout

    Hi!

    I’m looking for some help to figure out how to imitate the way this website looks https://www.toshowthemjesus.com. We have the same premium theme from bluchic

    I’ve been wrecking my brain trying to figure out how I can create my layout in the same ways. The following is the way I want it to look:

    1. Slider on top (this is part of my theme settings and is currently enabled)
    2. Followed by 1 latest post in one column format. I don’t want it to be the full post, as I will be using the (READ MORE) divider. I just want a wide one column layout for the latest post.
    3. Followed by 2 column excerpt format for older blog posts. (this is part of my theme setting is currently enabled)

    I’ve been trying to figure out what code to put where to get that layout for my blog. Any ideas? I’m just stumped!

  • Since you purchased the theme it should come with support. Have you opened a ticket at bluchic themes.

    I am not accusing you of any ill will but really please don’t do that here.

    If you wish to provide support here that is of course encouraged. But for customizing a commercial theme, that’s not something for these forums. Commercial products are not supported in these forums.

    Back to the topic: lechicbynadia the problem is that the level of customization is not really for here (see above link).

    If you were asking about generic theme support or even modifying the CSS a little then sure. But customization of a commercial product is outside of the scope here.

    If you need that level of support please consider https://jobs.wordpress.net/ or https://directory.codepoet.com/ instead.

    Hi lechicbynadia,
    I took a look at the theme that you are using and it has a built in column listing option. Go to: Appearance > Theme Options > General Settings > There you will see “Column Blog Listing”
    Hope this helps you out.
