Modify Search Results Page

  • I am running the Kingsize theme and I want to modify the search results page.

    If nothing is found I can control what the page looks like but I can’t seem to find where to hack for the display for the results when one or more is found. (Currently it includes the sidebar and footer which clutter up the page.)

    I assumed that search.php would be the obvious place but no, loop.php seems to have the code for search results, at least when nothing is found.

    Alternatively, is there a simple plug-in to replace the built-in one?
