Unfortunately, modifying the receipt design is currently only possible by modifying the plugin PHP code directly. Depending on the extent of the required modifications, our support team will be happy to help.
We definitely recognise the need for further design options, please be patient at this will take some time to develop and test.
CSS is not used when printing, because the print jobs are prepared using printer command data and not with HTML. This limitation is necessary while using a print job spooler that is built-in to the plugin – since it must be made with PHP, and work on all typical WordPress installations. We are preparing a solution for this limitation, which will allow much more flexibility in the future.
