Modify the layout

    I have a really hard time explaining what I need, so instead I tried making a video, showing you actually what I would like to change.

    I hope all my questions are possible ??

    I will also try to put the questions here, just so that you dont have to watch the video over and over again if you dont remember my questions:

    1. Can ‘ORDER NOTIFICATION’ be replaced with ‘PICKUP or DELIVERY’ depending on what the customer choose when they order?

    2. Can I hide ‘Order Status’ and ‘Order Date’?

    3. Can I move ‘Qty’ up in front of the product name? So it will be like:
    ‘2 X 85. Durum Kebab’

    4. Can I remove the ID which is shown after the product? I don’t need -ID: XXXX
    I only need to display the qty and the name of the product

    5. Can I translate into Danish? I found some of the words in the Order-handler.php but I dont know if it would be the correct way of translating directly in there?

    6. The ‘Additional Information’ displays too much information. Can I remove what I dont need?
    And can I then only show if the customer choose: Pickup/Delivery and the Date and Time?

    In the video, you can see that I have problem explaining this ‘Checkout Field for WooCommerce’ plugin. Because actually, I use 3 or 4 different rules to show different times depending what day of the week it is, and also what time of the day it is.

    In the system that is running right now, it only shows this:

    Leveringstype: Afhentning
    Dato: xx.xx.xxxx
    Tidspunkt: 18:15

    Can I have it the same here? When printing with your plugin, it shows the names I gave the rules in the plugin which looks pretty confusing ??

    I hope you know what I mean, feel free to ask or tell me to explain better.

    Oh, sorry, I actually forgot to ask one thing in the video.

    When I got this new printer, I downloaded the software on my phone and did some test prints with default templates.

    Can I have the ‘TOTAL’ look the same way, with the lines like ——— and bigger font?

    – I commended the code that I don’t need with place ‘//’ before the code so it will no be executed.
    – I’m not a programmer, just reading and comparing with a ticked I’ve made the modifications.

    @surdusvacca thank you for getting in tough.

    You have a lot of requests, I think that most are possible, but unfortunately all of them will require modifications to the plugin code directly.

    My concern is mainly question 6, because integration with third party plugins is not always easy. However please have a look at our response to this question https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/add-on-and-custom-field/ in which I provided a modified plugin and explained how to adjust the code do decide which fields will be shown.

    You may also want to chec oyu the really nice Star CloudPRNT For WooCommerce Plus plugin which is bases on our code with some modifications by Ko Takagi which adds support for translation and hooks to add extra data.

    Alternatively, helping you with these changes may get a little involved, so please contact our support directlyvia https://star-emea.com/contact/ and mention that you have been talking with me already on the forum so that they can pass you on to me directly.

    Soon we will be switching development to GitHub and once that happens, please feel free to submit your improvements there.

    Actually the problem is solved. I think from the beginning everything from ‘Additional information’ was shown, but after I figured out how to display only what I need, well, then the rest was removed ?? – So thank you.

    This is actually related to the above, when I figured out how to only show Type, Date and time, then everything was just fine ??

    Yours look also pretty nice, but unfortunately there is missing some things with that plugin.
    Fx. my client is running lunch offers every monday from 11-15
    So I have made it that if a customer adds something from a ‘Lunch offer category’ to the cart, then they cannot choose pickup/delivery after 15.

    In the weekends they also opens a bit earlier, for this I also uses different timeranges.

    It is a shame that the plugin which you provided cannot do that, because it then has some other features that I would really like:)
    But I guess you cannot have everything ??
