Modify the read more excerpt

By default Iconic One creates an excerpt for each post of the blog in the main page, no matter where I put the <!–more–> tag in the post. Is there a way to change this behaviour? It also happens when I search by category or tag…

I have checked and in the Home Page you can customize the theme. In post settings, don’t select “Show excerpts on Home Page”. However I haven’t been able to do this for categories or tags…
