Modifying a page

    I am brand new to WordPress and have had to take of maintenance of an existing site. I am fumbling my way through. I have figured out about 90% of what is going on, but is having problem with one part that I need to update and cannot locate the page or source.

    Our website is https://www.persimmonhollowvillage.com. I need to update the address information in the upper right. (top of right sidebar). I have determined how to modify the menu area in the lower right of the sidebar, but cannot find where to edit the top, what is is called in wordpress, etc.

    If anyone could suggest what it might be called, or what might refer to it, I would be very appreciative. Thanks.

  • The address details are inside a text widget (you can tell that from looking at the various elements that it is in on the source code for the page).

    To modify this, you will go into your admin area, then go to ‘Appearance’ -> ‘Widgets’. This will show you the list of sidebars on the right-hand side. Choose the sidebar that you are using, and edit the text widget in there and it will change.

    Thank you very much. I found it. I have made the changes a little while ago, although they are not showing up on the web site. Maybe it just takes a while.
