Modifying a theme?

  • If you use someone else’s theme as like a starting block for you own theme, can you say the theme is made by you, or made by bob and modified by you?

  • The latter, unless you modify the theme so heavily that it in no way resembles the original.

    Of course, unless the work is copyrighted, there is nothing apart from your conscience and decency from claiming the work is your own.
