Modifying Attachment Page

  • In my posts that have pictures clicking on the image takes you to the attachment page, as it should.

    However if you click on the image on the attachment page it takes you to the image file itself. IE: https://www.mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Triple-Dog-Dare-1024×788.jpg

    I’m trying to modify the attachment page so that clicking on the image does NOT take you to the image file itself. Everything I’ve tried seems to break by sidebar(s).

    Does this make sense? Can anyone post a modification? Please!
