• The NextGen gallery website says the following:

I’ve added a new parameter to settings “Number of columns”, here you can define the columns based on your theme width. A second option is to add to the Custom Fields the parameter “ngg_gal_Columns” :

    Next Gen page

Where does this parameter go? I’ve tried looking for a “settings” option and don’t see it; I tried adding it to the page thusly:

    [nggallery id=1 template=caption ngg_gal_Columns=1]

and I’m still getting 2 columns on the page; looked at the CSS for NextGen and didn’t see where it would go.

This is the page that needs the help:

    Karen Tiede Rugs

    thx

BTW–I am tweaking the descriptions to contain more information, which is forcing the display to go into one column.

I still need to know where to put the parameter.

Do you know how to create a line break within the caption? The information would be better if it appeared in three lines for each item.

    thx

did you fix this? I’m struggling trying to sort my gallery into 4 columns so the caption text doesn’t distort the gallery.

I read you are suppose to use ngg_gal_Columns but where exactly do I add this?

    Can someone please help?
