• I think the quick view functionality in Woocommerce comes from OceanWP, but if I should take this question to the Woocommerce forum, please let me know.

When someone clicks “add to cart” on the product archive page, the button for that product changes to “view cart,” indicating to the customer that the item has been added to the cart. However, when someone adds the item to their cart from the product quick view, the button on the archive does not change. One of my customers pointed out that this is confusing because it makes it seem like maybe the site missed the addition of that item. Is there a way to make the button on the archive change even when the item is added to the cart from quick view?

    Example: https://snipboard.io/uozgK1.jpg
The product on the left was added to the cart from the archive. The product on the right was added to cart from quick view.

Example page in case you want to test the behaviour: https://carrickseeds.ca/product-category/legumes/beans/

  • Hello,

Unfortunately, Quick View is the OceanWP theme feature and WooCommerce doesn’t offer it as a default functionality and which is the reason for the button text change, etc.

But I added this to the feature request list and we’ll see what we can do about it in the future updates.
